Terms of use

1. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for the activity on your account.
• There are two profile types: player (plays published TCGs from their page) and creator (designs and publishes TCGs from the creator dashboard). Collaborators access the TCGs a creator invited them to.
• If you are a minor under the laws of your country, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Creator content

• You keep all rights to your TCG, cards, artwork, rules and other content.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, technically adapt and display that content solely to provide the service (including publishing it on your subdomain, the landing page and search engines if you publish it).
• You confirm you hold the rights needed for what you upload and that it does not infringe third-party rights (intellectual property, trademarks, image or privacy).
• You are responsible for your relationship with your players, your game rules and the products you offer in your shop.

3. Prohibited uses

• Uploading illegal content, content that incites hatred or violence, sexual content involving minors, defamatory content or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Cheating, exploiting bugs, automating accounts or interfering with other players’ games.
• Attempting to access other people’s data or accounts without permission, bypassing plan limits or overloading the infrastructure.
• Reselling the service or using Jev outside of games on the platform.

4. Plans, payments and cancellation

• Plans (Free, Creator, Assisted Creator and special agreements such as the Founder plan) are purchased per TCG and include the features published on the pricing page and the usage limits shown in the Plan tab of the dashboard. Limits may be adjusted according to the platform’s capacity; if they are reduced, we will notify you in advance.
• Paid plans are charged monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Plan tab; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and the TCG then moves to the Free plan.
• Moving to a plan with lower limits does not delete your content, but you will not be able to create more items above the new limits.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, which may act as merchant of record. Prices may include taxes depending on your country.
• We may change prices with prior notice; the change will apply from the next billing period.

5. Jev tokens

• Jev, the advanced AI, spends tokens on every decision. Each TCG has its own balance: its plan’s monthly allowance (which does not roll over) plus purchased top-ups (which do not expire while the service exists).
• Without balance, new games against Jev cannot be started and ongoing games continue with the basic AI.
• Tokens are not money, cannot be transferred between TCGs or exchanged for money, and are non-refundable unless required by law.

6. Purchases in TCG shops

Digital products a creator sells in their shop (packs, cards, items) only have value within that TCG, cannot be exchanged for money and depend on the TCG remaining published. Engine TCG processes the payment and pays the creator their share.

7. Assisted Creator plan

The Assisted Creator plan includes active follow-up and direct contact with the Engine TCG team to evaluate extra features for your TCG. It does not guarantee the development of any specific feature: scope, timing and priority are agreed case by case, and anything we build may be added to the platform for other creators.

8. Availability and changes to the service

Engine TCG is under active development. We do our best to keep it available, but there may be interruptions, bugs or feature changes. We may modify or remove features with reasonable notice when they affect paid plans.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts or TCGs that breach these terms. You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid Engine TCG in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits the rights granted to you by consumer protection law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile, without prejudice to the mandatory rights granted to you as a consumer by the laws of your country of residence.
